Hello, my fellow astronauts, I have an announcement to make.

I'm going to launch Darkmatter on Tuesday the 19th!

After 3 months of building and sharing the updates with you, I'm excited (and a little nervous) to release this thing into space. Your replies to my newsletters and thoughts from early adopters kept me going and meant so much. Thank you for that!

While I didn't implement all the ideas I had, I did implement the ones I never anticipated. Your feedback helped me shape the app to be the best version of itself and solve problems that matter.

I can't wait to show you the new, fresh way to work with content-first websites powered by Astro. I'll be looking forward to your thoughts and impressions from trying it out, very much.

I'm not going to set up an automated sequence of emails to remind you about Darkmatter 20 times, but I hope you don't mind if I send one more email at the day of the launch.

It's almost lift-off time!

By the way, Darkmatter was supposed to launch last week, but unfortunately I got a rejection from Paddle, making it impossible to start selling the app. There was some confusion on what Darkmatter is, which Paddle thought violated Astro's terms of service. After several rounds of emails, I clarified what Darkmatter does and doesn't and I finally got approved.

This, however, might've turned out well for me, because I completely forgot about the Apple keynote happening that same week. If I would launch Darkmatter then, I'm sure it would drown in the iPhone tweets and would be a complete disaster.
